Main towns and villages : Bayonne/Anglet/Biarritz (known as "the BAB"), St-Jean-de-Luz, Hendaye, Urrugne, Ciboure, Hasparren, Cambo-les-Bains, Bidart, St-Pée-sur-Nivelle, Ascain, Sare, Espelette, Guéthary, Ainhoa... Long under English rule, the province became part of France in 1451.
